سورة المؤمنون، الآية ٩٣
قُل رَّبِّ إِمَّا تُرِيَنِّى مَا يُوعَدُونَ ٩٣
qul rabbi immā turiyannī mā yūʿadūna
Say, [O Muḥammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised,

O Messenger, say: “O Lord, if you show me regarding these idolaters the punishment You have promised them.
Say, “My Lord, if You show me what they41 are warned of,
[41] i.e., the pagans of Makkah.
Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment),
Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised.
Say: "O my Lord! if Thou wilt show me (in my lifetime) that which they are warned against,-
Say: O my Lord! if Thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with:
Say, "Lord, in case You ever definitely show me what they are promised.
وَلَا تَسْتَوِى ٱلْحَسَنَةُ وَلَا ٱلسَّيِّئَةُ ٱدْفَعْ بِٱلَّتِى هِىَ أَحْسَنُ فَإِذَا ٱلَّذِى بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُۥ عَدَٰوَةٌ كَأَنَّهُۥ وَلِىٌّ حَمِيمٌ …
And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] by that [deed] which is better; and thereupon, the one whom between you and him is enmity [will become] as though he was a devoted friend. …
