وَكُنَّا نَخُوضُ مَعَ ٱلْخَآئِضِينَ ۝٤٥

Transliteration

wakunnā nakhūḍu maʿa l-khāiḍīna

Al-Mukhtasar

We used to be with the people of falsehood and go wherever they go. We used to speak to the people of misguidance and deviation.

"And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allâh hated) with vain talkers.³

"But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers;

And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses.
