سورة الكهف، الآية ٧٥
قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكَ إِنَّكَ لَن تَسْتَطِيعَ مَعِىَ صَبْرًا ٧٥
qāla alam aqul laka innaka lan tastaṭīʿa maʿiya ṣabran
[Al-Khiḍr] said, "Did I not tell you that with me you would never be able to have patience?"

Khidr said to Moses (peace be upon him): “I had said To You: O Moses, you will never be able to bear the matter I will carry out”.
The man said, “Did I not tell you that you will never be able to have patience with me?”
(Khidr) said: "Did I not tell you that you can have no patience with me?"
He said: Did I not tell thee that thou couldst not bear with me?
He answered: "Did I not tell thee that thou canst have no patience with me?"
He said: Did I not say to you that you will not be able to have patience with me?
Said he, "Did I not say to you that surely you would never be able to (endure) with me patiently?"
قَامَ مُوسَى خَطِيبًا فِي بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فَقِيلَ لَهُ أَىُّ النَّاسِ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ أَنَا، فَعَتَبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ، إِذْ لَمْ يَرُدَّ الْعِلْمَ إِلَيْهِ، وَأَوْحَى إِلَيْهِ بَلَى عَبْدٌ مِنْ عِبَادِي بِمَجْمَعِ…
