سورة الكهف، الآية ٧٢
قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُلْ إِنَّكَ لَن تَسْتَطِيعَ مَعِىَ صَبْرًا ٧٢
qāla alam aqul innaka lan tastaṭīʿa maʿiya ṣabran
[Al-Khiḍr] said, "Did I not say that with me you would never be able to have patience?"

Khidr said to Moses: Did I not say: You will not be able to bear patience over what you see me doing?!
He said, “Did I not tell you that you will never be able to have patience with me?”
He (Khidr) said: "Did I not tell you, that you would not be able to have patience with me?"
He said: Did I not tell thee that thou couldst not bear with me?
He answered: "Did I not tell thee that thou canst have no patience with me?"
He said: Did I not say that you will not be able to have patience with me?
Said he, "Did I not say that surely you would never be able to (endure) with me patiently?"
