سورة الدخان، الآية ١٣
أَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ وَقَدْ جَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مُّبِينٌ ١٣
annā lahumu l-dhik'rā waqad jāahum rasūlun mubīnun
How will there be for them a reminder [at that time]? And there had come to them a clear Messenger.

How can they take heed and repent to their Lord now, when a clear Messenger came to them before, and they knew of his truthfulness and honesty?
How will they take heed, when a messenger who explained things clearly has already come to them?
How can there be for them an admonition (at the time when the torment has reached them), when a Messenger explaining things clearly has already come to them.
How can there be remembrance for them, when a messenger making plain (the Truth) had already come unto them,
How shall the message be (effectual) for them, seeing that an Messenger explaining things clearly has (already) come to them,-
How shall they be reminded, and there came to them an Messenger making clear (the truth),
However could they have the Reminding, and an evident Messenger has already come to them,
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَيْهِمْ بِسَبْعٍ كَسَبْعِ يُوسُفَ "
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَيْهِمْ بِسَبْعٍ كَسَبْعِ يُوسُفَ "
اللَّهُمَّ سَبْعٌ كَسَبْعِ يُوسُفَ ". فَأَخَذَتْهُمْ سَنَةٌ حَصَّتْ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ حَتَّى أَكَلُوا الْجُلُودَ وَالْمَيْتَةَ وَالْجِيَفَ، وَيَنْظُرَ أَحَدُهُمْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَيَرَى الدُّخَانَ مِنَ الْجُوعِ
اللَّهُمَّ حَوَالَيْنَا وَلاَ عَلَيْنَا ". فَانْحَدَرَتِ السَّحَابَةُ عَنْ رَأْسِهِ، فَسُقُوا النَّاسُ حَوْلَهُمْ.
وَجِا۟ىٓءَ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بِجَهَنَّمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ …
And brought [within view], that Day, is Hell - that Day, man will remember, but how [i.e., what good] to him will be the remembrance? …
وَلَوْ تَرَىٰٓ إِذْ فَزِعُوا۟ فَلَا فَوْتَ وَأُخِذُوا۟ مِن مَّكَانٍ قَرِيبٍ …
And if you could see when they are terrified but there is no escape, and they will be seized from a place nearby. …
