O mankind, you are those in need of Allāh, while Allāh is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.
Girl Arabic origin Ghinā
“Wealth, sufficiency”; above all the wealth of a contented heart
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Wealth (al-ghina) is not abundance of possessions; true wealth is the wealth of the soul” (al-Bukhari 6446). The Quran recalls: “O mankind, it is you who are in need of Allah, and Allah is the Rich (al-Ghani), the Praiseworthy” (35:15), and to the Prophet ﷺ: “Did He not find you poor and enrich you (fa-aghna)?” (93:8).
Ghina means wealth, ease, needing no one (root gh-n-y, that of al-Ghani, “the Self-Sufficient”, a name of Allah). It should not be confused with ghinaʾ (غناء), “singing”, a different form. The name is given in the Middle East; it is written Rhina in the Maghreb.
The name Ghina does not appear as such in the Quran, but its root (غ ن ي) occurs 73 times. Examples:
O mankind, you are those in need of Allāh, while Allāh is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.
And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.
But if they separate [by divorce], Allāh will enrich each [of them] from His abundance. And ever is Allāh Encompassing and Wise.
