Narrator:Abu Hurayrah

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏

"‏ نِعِمَّا لأَحَدِهِمْ أَنْ يُطِيعَ رَبَّهُ وَيُؤَدِّيَ حَقَّ سَيِّدِهِ ‏"

'Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:

"How wonderful it is for one of them that he obeys Allah and fulfills the rights of his master." Meaning the slave. And Ka'b said: "Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth."

Al-Mubarakfuri — Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi

قَوْلُهُ : ( نِعْمَ مَا ) مَا نَكِرَةٌ غَيْرُ مَوْصُولَةٍ وَلَا مَوْصُوفَةٍ , بِمَعْنَى شَيْءٍ , أَيْ نِعْمَ شَيْئًا ( لِأَحَدِهِمْ ) وَفِي رِوَايَةِ الْبُخَارِيِّ : نِعِمَّا الْمَمْلُوكُ. قَالَ الْحَافِظُ فِي الْفَتْحِ : بِفَتْحِ النُّونِ وَكَسْرِ الْعَيْنِ وَإِدْغَامِ الْمِيمِ فِي الْأُخْرَى , وَيَجُوزُ كَسْرُ النُّونِ , وَتُكْسَرُ النُّونُ وَتُفْتَحُ أَيْضًا مَعَ إِسْكَانِ الْعَيْنِ وَتَحْرِيكِ الْمِيمِ , فَتِلْكَ أَرْبَعُ لُغَاتٍ ( أَنْ يُطِيعَ رَبَّهُ وَيُؤَدِّيَ حَقَّ سَيِّدِهِ ) مَخْصُوصٌ بِالْمَدْحِ , وَالْمَعْنَى نِعْمَ شَيْئًا لَهُ إِطَاعَةُ اللَّهِ وَأَدَاءُ حَقِّ سَيِّدِهِ ( يَعْنِي الْمَمْلُوكَ ) هَذَا تَفْسِيرٌ مِنْ بَعْضِ الرُّوَاةِ لِقَوْلِهِ لِأَحَدِهِمْ ( وَقَالَ كَعْبٌ : ص…
