حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ إِنَّ

أَرْوَاحَ الشُّهَدَاءِ فِي طَيْرٍ خُضْرٍ تَعْلُقُ مِنْ ثَمَرَةِ الْجَنَّةِ أَوْ شَجَرِ الْجَنَّةِ ‏"

Narrated Ka'b bin Malik:

From his father that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The souls of the martyrs are in green birds, suspended from the fruit of Paradise, or the trees of Paradise."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

Al-Mubarakfuri — Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi

قَوْلُهُ : ( فِي طَيْرٍ ) جَمْعُ طَائِرٍ وَيُطْلَقُ عَلَى الْوَاحِدِ ( خُضْرٍ ) بِضَمٍّ فَسُكُونٍ جَمْعُ أَخْضَرَ ( تَعْلُقُ ) قَالَ الْمُنْذِرِيُّ : بِفَتْحِ الْمُثَنَّاةِ فَوْقُ وَعَيْنٍ مُهْمَلَةٍ وَضَمِّ اللَّامِ أَيْ تَرْعَى مِنْ أَعَالِي شَجَرِ الْجَنَّةِ اِنْتَهَى. وَقَالَ فِي النِّهَايَةِ : أَيْ تَأْكُلُ وَهُوَ فِي الْأَصْلِ لِلْإِبِلِ إِذَا أَكَلَتْ الْعِضَاهَ , يُقَالُ عَلِقَتْ تَعْلُقُ عُلُوقًا فَنُقِلَ إِلَى الطَّيْرِ اِنْتَهَى ( مِنْ ثَمَرِ الْجَنَّةِ أَوْ شَجَرِ الْجَنَّةِ ) شَكٌّ مِنْ الرَّاوِي. وَفِي حَدِيثِ اِبْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عِنْدَ مُسْلِمٍ : " أَرْوَاحُهُمْ فِي أَجْوَافِ طَيْرٍ خُضْرٍ لَهَا قَنَادِيلُ مُعَلَّقَةٌ بِالْعَرْشِ تَسْرَحُ مِنْ الْجَنَّةِ حَيْثُ شَاءَتْ ثُمَّ تَأْ…
