أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ

الْمُجَثَّمَةِ وَلَبَنِ الْجَلاَّلَةِ وَالشُّرْبِ مِنْ فِي السِّقَاءِ ‏.‏

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:

"The Messenger of Allah forbade (eating) animals that had been taken as targets, the milk of Al-Jallalah (animals that eat dung), and drinking directly from water skins."

Ibn 'Umar (RAA) narrated, "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prohibited eating the animal which feeds on filth or drinks its milk." Related by the four Imams except for An-Nasai. At-Tirmidhi graded it as Hasan.

وَعَنْ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: { نَهَى رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-عَنْ اَلْجَلَّالَةِ وَأَلْبَانِهَا } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلْأَرْبَعَةِ إِلَّا النَّسَائِيُّ, وَحَسَّنَهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ…

Ibn ‘Umar told that God's messenger prohibited eating the animal which feeds on filth or drinking its milk. Trimidhi transmitted it. In Abu Dawud’s version he said that he forbade riding the animal which feeds on filth.

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَكْلِ الْجَلَّالَةِ وَأَلْبَانِهَا. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ أَبِي دَاوُدَ: قَالَ: نُهِيَ عَنْ ركوبِ الْجَلالَة
