أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمٍ، قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ بَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الْمَسْجِدِ إِذْ قَالَ ‏"‏ يَا عَائِشَةُ

نَاوِلِينِي الثَّوْبَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي لاَ أُصَلِّي ‏.‏ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ فِي يَدِكِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَنَاوَلَتْهُ

Abu Hurairah said:

"While the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was in the Masjid, he said: 'O 'Aishah, hand me the garment.' She said: 'I am not praying.' He said: 'It is not in your hand.' So she gave it to him."

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ordered me that I should get him the mat from the mosque. I said: I am menstruating. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Do get me that, for menstruation is not in your hand.

أُنَاوِلَهُ الْخُمْرَةَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ ‏.‏ فَقُلْتُ إِنِّي حَائِضٌ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ تَنَاوَلِيهَا فَإِنَّ الْحَيْضَةَ لَيْسَتْ فِي يَدِكِ ‏"

Narrated by Ā’ishah

Authentic Sahih Muslim 299

While the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was in the mosque, he said: O 'A'isha, get me that garment. She said: I am menstruating. Upon this he remarked: Your menstruation is not in your hand, and she, therefore, got him that.

نَاوِلِينِي الثَّوْبَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي حَائِضٌ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ إِنَّ حَيْضَتَكِ لَيْسَتْ فِي يَدِكِ ‏"‏ فَنَاوَلَتْهُ ‏.‏
