قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَبِي : يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ قَالَ كَانَتْ خُنَاسُ بِنْتُ خِذَامٍ عِنْدَ رَجُلٍ تَأَيَّمَتْ مِنْهُ فَزَوَّجَهَا أَبُوهَا رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي عَوْفٍ وَحَطَّتْ هِيَ إِلَى أَبِي لُبَابَةَ فَأَبَى أَبُوهَا إِلَّا أَنْ يُلْزِمَهَا الْعَوْفِيَّ وَأَبَتْ هِيَ حَتَّى ارْتَفَعَ شَأْنُهُمَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ هِيَ أَوْلَى بِأَمْرِهَا فَأَلْحِقْهَا بِهَوَاهَا فَتَزَوَّجَتْ أَبَا لُبَابَةَ فَوَلَدَتْ لَهُ أَبَا السَّائِبِ
