حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبٍ الْحَارِثِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْحَارِثِ - حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، - رضى الله عنها - أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ كُنْتُ

أُطَيِّبُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ثُمَّ يَطُوفُ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ ثُمَّ يُصْبِحُ مُحْرِمًا يَنْضَخُ طِيبًا ‏.‏

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported:

I used to apply perfume to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He then went round his wives, and entered upon the state of Ihram in the morning and the perfume was shaken off.

An-Nawawi — Sharh Sahih Muslim

وَقَوْلهَا : ( يَنْضَخ طِيبًا ) بِالْخَاءِ الْمُعْجَمَة أَيْ يَفُور مِنْهُ الطِّيب , وَمِنْهُ قَوْله تَعَالَى ( عَيْنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ ) هَذَا هُوَ الْمَشْهُور أَنَّهُ بِالْخَاءِ الْمُعْجَمَة , وَلَمْ يَذْكُر الْقَاضِي غَيْره , وَضَبَطَهُ بَعْضهمْ بِالْحَاءِ الْمُهْمَلَة , وَهُمَا مُتَقَارِبَانِ فِي الْمَعْنَى. قَالَ الْقَاضِي : قِيلَ : النَّضْخ بِالْمُعْجَمَةِ أَقَلّ مِنْ النَّضْح بِالْمُهْمَلَةِ , وَقِيلَ : عَكْسه , وَهُوَ أَشْهَر وَأَكْثَر. قَوْلهَا : ( ثُمَّ يَطُوف عَلَى نِسَائِهِ ) قَدْ يُقَال : قَدْ قَالَ الْفُقَهَاء : أَقَلّ الْقَسْم لَيْلَة لِكُلِّ اِمْرَأَة فَكَيْف طَافَ عَلَى الْجَمِيع فِي لَيْلَة وَاحِدَة ؟ وَجَوَابه مِنْ وَجْهَيْنِ : أَحَدهمَا : أَنَّ هَذَا كَانَ بِرِضَاهُنَّ ,…

Ibn `Umar used to oil his hair. I told that to Ibrahim who said, "What do you think about this statement: Narrated Aswad from `Aisha: As if I were now observing the glitter of the scent in the parting of the hair of the Prophet (ﷺ) while he was Muhrim?"
