حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ فَذَكَرْتُ لَهَا قَوْلَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ مَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ أُصْبِحَ، مُحْرِمًا أَنْضَخُ طِيبًا‏.‏ فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ

أَنَا طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ثُمَّ طَافَ فِي نِسَائِهِ ثُمَّ أَصْبَحَ مُحْرِمًا‏.‏

Narrated Muhammad bin Al-Muntathir:

on the authority of his father that he had asked `Aisha about the saying of Ibn `Umar (i.e. he did not like to be a Muhrim while the smell of scent was still coming from his body). `Aisha said, "I scented Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and he went round (had sexual intercourse with) all his wives, and in the morning he was Muhrim (after taking a bath)."

تَقَدَّمَ الْكَلَام عَلَى الْحَدِيثِ قَبْلَ بَاب وَمَوْضِع الِاسْتِدْلَالِ بِهِ أَنَّ قَوْلَهَا " طَافَ فِي نِسَائِهِ " كِنَايَة عَنْ الْجِمَاعِ وَمِنْ لَازِمِهِ الِاغْتِسَال. وَقَدْ ذَكَرَتْ أَنَّهَا طَيَّبَتْهُ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ وَأَنَّهُ أَصْبَحَ مُحْرِمًا. وَمِنْ فَوَائِدِهِ أَيْضًا وُقُوع رَدِّ بَعْض الصَّحَابَةِ عَلَى بَعْضٍ بِالدَّلِيلِ وَاطِّلَاع أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى مَا لَا يَطَّلِعُ عَلَيْهِ غَيْرُهُنَّ مِنْ أَفَاضِلِ الصَّحَابَة وَخِدْمَةُ الزَّوْجَات لِأَزْوَاجِهِنَّ وَالتَّطَيُّب عِنْدَ الْإِحْرَامِ وَسَيَأْتِي فِي الْحَجِّ. وَقَالَ اِبْن بَطَّالٍ : فِيهِ أَنَّ السُّنَّةَ اِتِّخَاذ الطِّيبِ لِلرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ عِنْدَ الْجِمَاعِ.…

Ibn `Umar used to oil his hair. I told that to Ibrahim who said, "What do you think about this statement: Narrated Aswad from `Aisha: As if I were now observing the glitter of the scent in the parting of the hair of the Prophet (ﷺ) while he was Muhrim?"

كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ الطِّيبِ فِي مَفَارِقِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ‏.‏
