Mishkat al-Masabih 407

I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) rubbing his toes with his little finger when he performed ablution.

إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ يَدْلُكُ أَصَابِعَ رِجْلَيْهِ بِخِنْصَرِهِ ‏.‏

Narrated by Al-Mustawrid ibn Shaddād

"He started with the front of his head, moved them (his hands) to the nape of his neck, and then returned them to the place where he started."
