Sahih al-Bukhari 5856

That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Do not walk in one sandal, either wear both sandals, or go barefoot." [Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih. He said: There is something on this topic from Jabir.

"‏ لاَ يَمْشِي أَحَدُكُمْ فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدَةٍ لِيُنْعِلْهُمَا جَمِيعًا أَوْ لِيُحْفِهِمَا جَمِيعًا ‏"

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z-Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Do not wear one sandal. Wear both of them or go with both feet bare."

"‏ لاَ يَمْشِيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدَةٍ لِيُنْعَلْهُمَا جَمِيعًا أَوْ لِيُحْفِهِمَا جَمِيعًا ‏"

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "None of you should walk wearing one shoe; you should either wear them both or take them off both." [Al- Bukhari and Muslim].

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال‏:‏ ‏"‏لا يمشي أحدكم في نعل واحدة لينعلهما جميعًا او ليخلعهما جميعًا‏"‏‏.‏ وفي رواية ‏"‏ أو ليحفهما جميعًا ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah

“Let none of you walk in a single sandal. Let him wear them both or take them both off!”

إِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلاَ يَمْشِ فِي الأُخْرَى حَتَّى يُصْلِحَهَا ‏"

None of you should walk wearing one shoe; either wear both of them or take them both off

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "None of you should walk wearing just one shoe; either wear both of them or take them both off."

لاَ يَمْشِ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدَةٍ لِيُنْعِلْهُمَا جَمِيعًا أَوْ لِيَخْلَعْهُمَا جَمِيعًا ‏"

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah Explained

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: When the thong (of a sandal) of one of you is cut off, he should not walk with one sandal till he repairs his thongs. He should not walk with one shoe, or eat with his left hand.

إِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلاَ يَمْشِ فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدَةٍ حَتَّى يُصْلِحَ شِسْعَهُ وَلاَ يَمْشِ فِي خُفٍّ وَاحِدٍ وَلاَ يَأْكُلْ بِشِمَالِهِ ‏"

Narrated by Jābir ibn ‘Abdullāh + 4 other versions

Do not walk in one sandal and do not wrap the lower garment round your knees and do not eat with your left hand and do not wrap yourself completely leaving no room for the arms (to draw out) and do not place one of your feet upon the other while lying on your back.

لاَ تَمْشِ فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدٍ وَلاَ تَحْتَبِ فِي إِزَارٍ وَاحِدٍ وَلاَ تَأْكُلْ بِشِمَالِكَ وَلاَ تَشْتَمِلِ الصَّمَّاءَ وَلاَ تَضَعْ إِحْدَى رِجْلَيْكَ عَلَى الأُخْرَى إِذَا اسْتَلْقَيْتَ ‏"

Narrated by Jābir ibn ‘Abdullāh + 2 other versions

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: None of you should walk with one sandal, but should wear a pair or should put off both of them.

لاَ يَمْشِي أَحَدُكُمْ فِي النَّعْلِ الْوَاحِدَةِ لِيَنْتَعِلْهُمَا جَمِيعًا أَوْ لِيَخْلَعْهُمَا جَمِيعًا ‏"

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said; “None of you should walk in one sandal or in one leather sock. Let him take them both off or walk in both of them.”

"‏ لاَ يَمْشِي أَحَدُكُمْ فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدٍ وَلاَ خُفٍّ وَاحِدٍ لِيَخْلَعْهُمَا جَمِيعًا أَوْ لِيَمْشِ فِيهِمَا جَمِيعًا ‏"
