Narrator:Ibn ‘Abbās

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ

لَيْسَ ‏{‏ص‏}‏ مِنْ عَزَائِمِ السُّجُودِ، وَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَسْجُدُ فِيهَا‏.‏

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:

The prostration in Sura-Sa`d is not amongst the compulsory prostrations, though I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) prostrating on reciting it.

The prostration of Sūrah Sād is not a compulsory one but I saw the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) prostrating while reciting it

Ibn Abbās (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The prostration of Sād is not a compulsory one but I saw the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) prostrating while reciting it."

ص‏}‏ لَيْسَ مِنْ عَزَائِمِ السُّجُودِ، وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَسْجُدُ فِيهَا‏.‏

A prostration while reciting Surat Sad (Surah 38) is not one of the 'Azaa'im (those which are always required), but I have seen Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) prostrating while reciting it. [Reported by al-Bukhari].
