حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي فُلَيْتٌ الْعَامِرِيُّ، عَنْ جَسْرَةَ بِنْتِ دِجَاجَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ رضى الله عنها مَا رَأَيْتُ صَانِعًا طَعَامًا مِثْلَ صَفِيَّةَ صَنَعَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم طَعَامًا فَبَعَثَتْ بِهِ فَأَخَذَنِي أَفْكَلٌ فَكَسَرْتُ الإِنَاءَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا كَفَّارَةُ مَا صَنَعْتُ قَالَ ‏"‏

إِنَاءٌ مِثْلُ إِنَاءٍ وَطَعَامٌ مِثْلُ طَعَامٍ ‏"

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin:

I saw no one cooking food like Safiyyah. She cooked food for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and sent it. I became angry and broke the vessel. I then asked: Messenger of Allah, what is the atonement for what I have done? He replied: A vessel like (this) vessel and food like (this) food.

Al-Azimabadi — Awn al-Ma'bud

( مِثْل صَفِيَّة ) : أَيْ بِنْت حُيَيّ زَوْج النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ( فَبَعَثَتْ ) : أَيْ صَفِيَّة ( بِهِ ) : أَيْ بِالطَّعَامِ ( أَفْكَلٌ ) : بِفَتْحِ الْهَمْزَة وَإِسْكَان الْفَاء وَفَتْح الْكَاف ثُمَّ لَام وَزْنه أَفْعَل , وَالْمَعْنَى أَخَذَتْنِي رِعْدَة الْأَفْكَل , وَهِيَ الرِّعْدَة مِنْ بَرْد أَوْ خَوْف. وَالْمُرَاد هُنَا أَنَّهَا لَمَّا رَأَتْ حُسْنَ الطَّعَام غَارَتْ وَأَخَذَتْهَا مِثْل الرِّعْدَة. قَالَهُ فِي النَّيْل ( فَكَسَرْتُ ) : بِصِيغَةِ الْمُتَكَلِّم ( إِنَاءٌ مِثْل إِنَاء إِلَخْ ) : فِيهِ دَلِيل عَلَى أَنَّ الْقِيمِيّ يُضْمَن بِمِثْلِهِ وَلَا يُضْمَن بِالْقِيمَةِ إِلَّا عِنْد عَدَم الْمِثْل , وَبِهِ اِحْتَجَّ الشَّافِعِيّ وَالْكُوفِيُّونَ. وَقَالَ الْقَ…

"Eat; your mother got jealous," twice. Then the Messenger of Allah took the dish of 'Aishah and sent it to Umm Salamah and he gave the dish of Umm Salamah to 'Aishah.

"‏ كُلُوا غَارَتْ أُمُّكُمْ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَحْفَةَ عَائِشَةَ فَبَعَثَ بِهَا إِلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ وَأَعْطَى صَحْفَةَ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَائِشَةَ ‏.‏
