حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُصَفَّى، وَعُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ الْوَصَّابِيُّ، - الْمَعْنَى - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ الضَّبِّيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ قَالَ ‏"‏

قَدِ اجْتَمَعَ فِي يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا عِيدَانِ فَمَنْ شَاءَ أَجْزَأَهُ مِنَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَإِنَّا مُجَمِّعُونَ ‏"

Narrated AbuHurayrah:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Two festivals ('Id and Friday) have synchronised on this day. If anyone does not want to offer the Friday prayer, the 'Id prayer is sufficient for him. But we shall offer the Friday prayer.

This tradition has been narrated by 'Umar from Shu'bah.

Reported by Abu Dawud (No. 1073) and Ibn Majah (No. 1311).

Al-Azimabadi — Awn al-Ma'bud

( وَإِنَّا مُجَمِّعُونَ ) : قَالَ الْخَطَّابِيُّ : فِي إِسْنَاد حَدِيث أَبِي هُرَيْرَة مَقَال وَيُشْبِه أَنْ يَكُون مَعْنَاهُ لَوْ صَحَّ أَنْ يَكُون الْمُرَاد بِقَوْلِهِ فَمَنْ شَاءَ أَجْزَأَهُ مِنْ الْجُمُعَة أَيْ عَنْ حُضُور الْجُمُعَة وَلَا يَسْقُط عَنْهُ الظُّهْر , وَأَمَّا صَنِيع اِبْن الزُّبَيْر فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَجُوز عِنْدِي أَنْ يُحْمَل إِلَّا عَلَى مَذْهَب مَنْ يَرَى تَقْدِيم الصَّلَاة قَبْل الزَّوَال , وَقَدْ رُوِيَ ذَلِكَ عَنْ اِبْن مَسْعُود , وَرُوِيَ عَنْ اِبْن عَبَّاس أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ فِعْل اِبْن الزُّبَيْر فَقَالَ أَصَابَ السُّنَّة. وَقَالَ عَطَاء كُلّ عِيد حِين يَمْتَدُّ الضُّحَى الْجُمُعَة وَالْأَضْحَى وَالْفِطْر. وَحَكَى إِسْحَاق بْن مَنْصُور عَنْ أَحْمَد بْن حَنْبَل أَنَّهُ…

“Two ‘Eid came together at the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), so he led the people in prayer, then he said: ‘Whoever wishes to come to Friday (prayer), let him come, and whoever wishes to stay behind, let him stay behind.’”

"‏ مَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ الْجُمُعَةَ فَلْيَأْتِهَا وَمَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَتَخَلَّفَ فَلْيَتَخَلَّفْ ‏"
