Quran verses about Trials and tests

البلاء والابتلاء

19 verses in 14 surahs · 8 subtopics

Why do trials come, and in what forms? These verses answer that Allah tests people through what He has given them and through the adornments of the earth, to show which of them is best in deeds. They cite prophets who were tested, such as Abraham and Ishmael, the soldiers of Talut (Saul) tried with a river, and the believers tested on the day of the Confederates.
