Knowledge is acquired through teaching and learning, these verses show; it raises the rank of those who possess it, leads to faith and obliges one to act as it requires. They censure arguing without knowledge, value understanding (fiqh), and recall what Allah has kept to His own knowledge, as well as how little knowledge man has been given.
Verses gathered from a topical index of the Quran, in Mushaf order; every verse is quoted in full.
Our Lord, and send among them a messenger from themselves who will recite to them Your verses and teach them the Book and wisdom and purify them. Indeed, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
Just as We have sent among you a messenger from yourselves reciting to you Our verses and purifying you and teaching you the Book and wisdom and teaching you that which you did not know.
Certainly did Allāh confer [great] favor upon the believers when He sent among them a Messenger from themselves, reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book [i.e., the Qur’ān] and wisdom, although they had been before in manifest error.
