Quran verses about Harm and hurt

الأذى

39 verses in 15 surahs · 10 subtopics

No one is harmed except by Allah’s permission, and none but He can remove affliction: these verses recall this while forbidding harm to others. They speak of Allah’s support for those persecuted in His cause, the suffering of the messengers at the hands of the disbelievers, physical ailment as a legal excuse, and the hurt caused when giving charity, which voids its reward.

Verses gathered from a topical index of the Quran, in Mushaf order; every verse is quoted in full.
