Text of verse 38:64

إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَحَقٌّ تَخَاصُمُ أَهْلِ ٱلنَّارِ ۝٦٤

Transliteration

inna dhālika laḥaqqun takhāṣumu ahli l-nāri

Translation

Indeed, that is truth [i.e., reality] - the quarreling of the people of the Fire.

Al-Mukhtasar

This which has been mentioned to you, namely the arguments of the disbelievers on the Day of Judgment, is the truth in which there is no dispute or doubt.

This is certainly true that the people of the Fire will dispute among themselves.

Verily, that is the very truth - the mutual dispute of the people of the Fire!

Lo! that is very truth: the wrangling of the dwellers in the Fire.

Truly that is just and fitting,- the mutual recriminations of the People of the Fire!

That most surely is the truth: the contending one with another of the inmates of the fire.

Surely this is indeed true: the adversaries among the population (Or: the family) of the Fire.
