سورة السجدة، الآية ٧
ٱلَّذِىٓ أَحْسَنَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقَهُۥ وَبَدَأَ خَلْقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنِ مِن طِينٍ ٧
alladhī aḥsana kulla shayin khalaqahu wabada-a khalqa l-insāni min ṭīnin
Who perfected everything which He created and began the creation of man from clay.

He is the being who perfected everything He created, and created the human from clay, without there having been a previous example of him.
Who perfected everything He created, and initiated the creation of man3 from clay.
[3] i.e., the creation of Adam in an unprecedented manner.
Who made everything He has created good and He began the creation of man from clay.
Who made all things good which He created, and He began the creation of man from clay;
He Who has made everything which He has created most good: He began the creation of man with (nothing more than) clay,
Who made good everything that He has created, and He began the creation of man from dust.
Who perfected in the fairest (shape) everything He created; and He began the creation of man of clay.
They share a sequence of words with this verse: useful for telling them apart when memorising.
خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ
Created man from a clinging substance.
خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلْصَٰلٍ كَٱلْفَخَّارِ
He created man from clay like [that of] pottery.
