And I give them respite for a short while so that they go to extremes in their sin. Indeed, My plan regarding the people of disbelief and rejection is firm; they will not escape Me nor be safe from My punishment.
I will give them respite, but My plan is firm.
And I will grant them a respite. Verily, My Plan is strong.
Yet I bear with them, for lo! My scheme is firm.
A (long) respite will I grant them: truly powerful is My Plan.
And I do bear with them, surely My plan is firm.
And I will reprieve them. Surely My plotting is ever-pervading.

And thus is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes the cities while they are committing wrong. Indeed, His seizure is painful and severe.
They share a sequence of words with this verse: useful for telling them apart when memorising.
وَأُمْلِى لَهُمْ إِنَّ كَيْدِى مَتِينٌ
And I will give them time. Indeed, My plan is firm.
