Text of verse 72:15

وَأَمَّا ٱلْقَٰسِطُونَ فَكَانُوا۟ لِجَهَنَّمَ حَطَبًا ۝١٥

Transliteration

wa-ammā l-qāsiṭūna fakānū lijahannama ḥaṭaban

Translation

But as for the unjust, they will be, for Hell, firewood.'

Tafsir of verse 15

Al-Mukhtasar

Those who go astray from the path of moderation and steadfastness, they will be firewood that will be used to light the fire of Hell together with other human beings like them.

Other translations of verse 15

but those who are deviant, they will be fuel for Hell.’”

And as for the Qâsitûn (disbelievers who deviated from the Right Path), they shall be firewood for Hell,

And as for those who are unjust, they are firewood for hell.

'But those who swerve,- they are (but) fuel for Hell-fire'-

And as to the deviators, they are fuel of hell:

And as for the inequitable, then they are firewood for Hell."
