Virtues and benefits of Surah Al-’Ankabut

Surah 29 69 verses Meccan

No authentic hadith mentions a virtue specific to Surah Al-’Ankabut; it is, however, one of the Mathani given to the Prophet ﷺ in place of the Gospel, according to the hadith of Wathilah ibn al-Asqa’. It is the surah of trials: it commands patience and steadfastness in trials and temptations and shows their good outcome, and likens false protectors to the spider’s house, the frailest of houses.
