Tafsir of verse 148
Al-Mukhtasar
So, Allah gave them the reward of this life by giving them victory and strength, and gave them the most excellent reward of the Afterlife, where they will receive His favour, and live in bliss eternally in Paradise. Allah loves those who always try to do their best in their worship and transactions.
So Allah gave them the reward of this world and the best reward of the Hereafter67, for Allah loves those who do good.
Notes
[67] Gaining victory in this life and eternal bliss in Paradise.
So Allâh gave them the reward of this world, and the excellent reward of the Hereafter. And Allâh loves Al-Muhsinûn (the good-doers - See the footnote of V.3:134 and of V.9:120).
So Allah gave them the reward of the world and the good reward of the Hereafter. Allah loveth those whose deeds are good.
And Allah gave them a reward in this world, and the excellent reward of the Hereafter. For Allah Loveth those who do good.
So Allah gave them the reward of this world and better reward of the hereafter and Allah loves those who do good (to others).
So Allah has brought them the requital of the present (life), (Literally: this lowly life, i.e., the life of this world) and the fairest requital of the Hereafter; and Allah loves the fair-doers.
