Shaden: meaning of the name
Girl Arabic origin Shādin
“The fawn” that has grown strong, the young gazelle
Meaning of the name Shaden
Shadin means a gazelle fawn that has grown strong: its horns are showing, it no longer needs its mother’s milk and walks at her side (shadana, “to grow, to gain strength”). Arab poets readily compare a young woman to a shadin for her slender figure and beautiful eyes. The name is given mostly in Jordan, Palestine and the Gulf, where it is often written Shaden.
