وَإِن مِّنكُمْ إِلَّا وَارِدُهَا كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ حَتْمًا مَّقْضِيًّا ٧١
And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed.

Boy Arabic origin Ḥātim
“One who decides, who settles”; the name of the generous Hatim al-Taʾi
Hatim al-Taʾi died before Islam; his son ʿAdi ibn Hatim embraced Islam and became a famous Companion, who saw the Prophet’s ﷺ predictions about the safety of the roads and the treasures of Chosroes come true (al-Bukhari 3595).
Hatim is the active participle of hatama, “to decide irrevocably, to make binding” (root h-t-m, that of hatm, “final decision”): the judge who settles. The name is famous above all through Hatim al-Taʾi, poet and chief of the tribe of Tayyiʾ before Islam, whose generosity became proverbial: “more generous than Hatim”.
The name Hatim does not appear as such in the Quran, but its root (ح ت م) occurs once. Examples:
وَإِن مِّنكُمْ إِلَّا وَارِدُهَا كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ حَتْمًا مَّقْضِيًّا ٧١
And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed.
