حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمَرَ، عَنْ عَمَّارٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم

رَخَّصَ لِلْجُنُبِ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ أَوْ يَشْرَبَ أَوْ يَنَامَ أَنْ يَتَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلاَةِ ‏

Ammar narrated:

"The Prophet permitted the Junub when he wanted to eat, drink, or sleep, to perform Wudu like the Wudu for Salat."

قَوْلُهُ : ( أَخْبَرَنَا قَبِيصَةُ ) بْنُ عُقْبَةَ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ السَّوَائِيُّ أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْكُوفِيُّ صَدُوقٌ رُبَّمَا خَالَفَ رَوَى عَنْ الثَّوْرِيِّ وَشُعْبَةَ وَحَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ وَغَيْرِهِمْ , وَعَنْهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَالذُّهْلِيُّ وَهَنَّادُ بْنُ سَرِيٍّ وَغَيْرُهُمْ كَذَا فِي التَّقْرِيبِ وَتَهْذِيبِ التَّهْذِيبِ ( عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمَرَ ) بِفَتْحِ التَّحْتَانِيَّةِ وَالْمِيمِ بَيْنَهُمَا مُهْمَلَةٌ سَاكِنَةٌ الْبَصْرِيُّ نَزِيلُ مَرْوٍ وَقَاضِيهَا ثِقَةٌ فَصِيحٌ وَكَانَ يُرْسِلُ مِنْ الثَّالِثَةِ كَذَا فِي التَّقْرِيبِ. وَقَالَ صَاحِبُ مَجْمَعِ الْبِحَارِ فِي كِتَابِهِ الْمُغْنِي بِفَتْحِ الْمِيمِ وَضَمِّهَا. قَوْلُهُ : ( رُخِّصَ لِلْجُنُبِ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَن…

‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: ‘Umar ibn al-Khattāb (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Messenger of Allah, may anyone of us sleep while being ritually impure?" He said: "Yes, he may sleep if he makes ablution."
