حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْهَاشِمِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ الْعَطَّارُ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ الْحَنَفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ وَرْدَانَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ قَالَ ‏

"‏ الْتَمِسُوا السَّاعَةَ الَّتِي تُرْجَى فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ إِلَى غَيْبُوبَةِ الشَّمْسِ ‏"

Anas bin Malik narrated that :

the Prophet said: "Seek out the hour that is hoped for on Friday after Asr until the sun has set."

Al-Mubarakfuri — Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi

قَوْلُهُ : ( أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ ) فِي التَّقْرِيبِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ الزُّرَّقِيُّ أَبُو إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمَدَنِيِّ لَقَّبَهُ حَمَّادٌ ضَعِيفٌ مِنْ السَّابِعَةِ. قَوْلُهُ : ( اِلْتَمِسُوا ) أَيْ اُطْلُبُوا ( تُرْجَى ) بِصِيغَةِ الْمَجْهُولِ أَيْ تُطْمَعُ إِجَابَةُ الدُّعَاءِ فِيهَا ( بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ إِلَى غَيْبُوبَةِ الشَّمْسِ ) . “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘On Friday there is a time when no Muslim man happens to stand in prayer at that time, asking Allah for good things, but He will give that to him.” And he gestured with his hand to indicate how short that time is.

"‏ إِنَّ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ سَاعَةً، لاَ يُوَافِقُهَا رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ، قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي، يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ فِيهَا خَيْرًا، إِلاَّ أَعْطَاهُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَقَلَّلَهَا بِيَدِهِ ‏.‏

Authentic Sahih Muslim 852b

There is a time on Friday at which no Muslim would stand and pray and beg Allah for what Is good but He would give it to him; and he pointed with his hand that (this time) is short and narrow.
