حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّ عَلِيًّا، ذَكَرَ بِنْتَ أَبِي جَهْلٍ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ ‏

"‏ إِنَّمَا فَاطِمَةُ بَضْعَةٌ مِنِّي يُؤْذِينِي مَا آذَاهَا وَيُنْصِبُنِي مَا أَنْصَبَهَا ‏"

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair:

that 'Ali mentioned the daughter of Abu Jahl (for marriage), and that reached the Prophet (ﷺ) so he said: "Indeed Fatimah is but a part of me, I am harmed by what harms her and I am uncomfortable by what makes her uncomfortable."

Al-Mubarakfuri — Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi

قَوْلُهُ : ( عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ) هُوَ اِبْنُ أَبِي تَمِيمَةَ السِّخْتِيَانِيُّ. قَوْلُهُ : ( أَنَّ عَلِيًّا ) أَيْ اِبْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ( ذَكَرَ بِنْتَ أَبِي جَهْلٍ ) أَيْ خَطَبَهَا " وَيَنْصِبُنِي مَا أَنْصَبَهَا" أَيْ يُتْعِبُنِي مَا أَتْعَبَهَا مِنْ النَّصَبِ وَهُوَ التَّعَبُ. قَوْلُهُ : ( وَيُحْتَمَلُ أَنْ يَكُونَ اِبْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ رَوَى عَنْهُمَا جَمِيعًا ) أَيْ عَنْ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ. وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ جَمِيعًا قَالَ الْحَافِظُ فِي الْفَتْحِ بَعْدَ نَقْلِ كَلَامِ التِّرْمِذِيِّ هَذَا مَا لَفْظُهُ : وَالَّذِي يَظْهَرُ تَرْجِيحُ رِوَايَةِ اللَّيْثِ لِكَوْنِهِ تُوبِعَ وَلِكَوْنِ الْحَدِيثِ قَدْ جَاءَ عَنْ الْمِسْوَرِ مِنْ غَيْرِ رِوَايَةِ اِبْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَة…
