حَدَّثَنِي هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ، هُوَ السَّلْمَانِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏

"‏ خَيْرُ النَّاسِ قَرْنِي ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ يَأْتِي قَوْمٌ مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ تَسْبِقُ أَيْمَانُهُمْ شَهَادَاتِهِمْ أَوْ شَهَادَاتُهُمْ أَيْمَانَهُمْ ‏"

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud:

that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The best generation is my generation, then those who follow them, then those who follow them. Then comes a people after that whose swearing precedes their testimony, or whose testimony precedes their swearing."

Al-Mubarakfuri — Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi

قَوْلُهُ : ( عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ) هُوَ النَّخَعِيُّ ( عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ ) بِفَتْحِ الْمُهْمَلَةِ وَكَسْرِ الْمُوَحَّدَةِ. قَوْلُهُ : " خَيْرُ النَّاسِ قَرْنِي ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ" تَقَدَّمَ شَرْحُهُ فِي الشَّهَادَاتِ " ثُمَّ يَأْتِي قَوْمٌ تَسْبِقُ أَيْمَانُهُمْ شَهَادَاتِهِمْ أَوْ شَهَادَاتُهُمْ أَيْمَانَهُمْ" كَذَا فِي النُّسَخِ الْمَوْجُودَةِ بِلَفْظِ أَوْ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ بِالْوَاوِ , قَالَ النَّوَوِيُّ : هَذَا ذَمٌّ لِمَنْ يَشْهَدُ وَيَحْلِفُ مَعَ شَهَادَتِهِ. وَاحْتَجَّ بِهِ بَعْضُ الْمَالِكِيَّةِ فِي رَدِّ شَهَادَةِ مَنْ حَلَفَ مَعَهَا وَجُمْهُورُ الْعُلَمَاءِ أَنَّهَا لَا تُرَدُّ , وَمَعْنَى الْحَدِيثِ أَنَّهُ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الْيَمِينِ وَ…
