حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ خَيْرُكُمْ قَرْنِي ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ لَا أَدْرِي ذَكَرَ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ خَلَفَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ قَوْمٌ يُحِبُّونَ السِّمَانَةَ يَشْهَدُونَ وَلَا يُسْتَشْهَدُونَ
