حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ ابْنَةِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏

"‏ لاَ تُقْبَلُ صَلاَةُ الْحَائِضِ إِلاَّ بِخِمَارٍ ‏"

Aishah narrated that:

Allah's Messenger said: "The Salat of a women who has reached the age of menstruation is not accepted without a Khimar"

قَوْلُهُ : ( لَا تُقْبَلُ صَلَاةُ الْحَائِضِ ) الْمُرَادُ مِنْ الْحَائِضِ مَنْ بَلَغَ سِنَّ الْمَحِيضِ لَا مَنْ هِيَ مُلَابِسَةُ الْمَحِيضِ فَإِنَّهَا مَمْنُوعَةٌ مِنْ الصَّلَاةِ ( إِلَّا بِخِمَارٍ ) بِكَسْرِ الْخَاءِ هُوَ مَا يُغَطَّى بِهِ رَأْسُ الْمَرْأَةِ قَالَ فِي الْقَامُوسِ : الْخِمَارُ بِالْكَسْرِ النَّصِيفُ كَالْخَمْرِ : كَطِمْرٍ وَكُلِّ مَا سَتَرَ شَيْئًا فَهُوَ خِمَارَةٌ جَمْعُهُ أَخْمِرَةٌ وَخُمُرٌ وَخُمْرٌ , وَقَالَ نَصِيفٌ كَأَسِيرِ الْخِمَارِ وَالْعِمَامَةِ وَكُلِّ مَا غَطَّى الرَّأْسَ اِنْتَهَى وَالْحَدِيثُ اُسْتُدِلَّ بِهِ عَلَى وُجُوبِ سَتْرِ الْمَرْأَةِ رَأْسَهَا حَالَ الصَّلَاةِ. قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْأَمِيرُ فِي سُبُلِ السَّلَامِ : وَنَفْيُ الْقَبُولِ الْم…

‘A’isha reported God’s Messenger as saying, “The prayer of a woman who has reached puberty is not accepted unless she is wearing a veil.”* * A veil (khimar) covering the head and the breasts. Cf. Al-Quran; 24:31. Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi transmitted it.
