حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَاذَانُ الأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ سِنَانِ بْنِ هَارُونَ الْبُرْجُمِيِّ، عَنْ كُلَيْبِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ ذَكَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِتْنَةً فَقَالَ ‏

"‏ يُقْتَلُ فِيهَا هَذَا مَظْلُومًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ لِعُثْمَانَ ‏

Narrated Ibn 'Umar:

that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) mentioned the Fitnah and said: "This one will be wrongfully killed during it," about 'Uthman bin 'Affan [may Allah be pleased with him].

Al-Mubarakfuri — Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi

قَوْلُهُ : ( حَدَّثَنَا شَاذَانُ الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ) شَاذَانُ لَقَبُ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ( عَنْ سِنَانِ بْنِ هَارُونَ ) الْبُرْجِيِّ أَبِي بِشْرٍ الْكُوفِيِّ صَدُوقٌ فِيهِ لِينٌ مِنْ الثَّامِنَةِ ( عَنْ كُلَيْبِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ ) التَّيْمِيِّ الْمَدَنِيِّ نَزِيلِ الْكُوفَةِ صَدُوقٌ مِنْ الرَّابِعَةِ. قَوْلُهُ : " يُقْتَلُ" بِصِيغَةِ الْمَجْهُولِ " هَذَا" أَيْ عُثْمَانُ " فِيهَا " أَيْ فِي تِلْكَ الْفِتْنَةِ ( لِعُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ) بَيَانُ هَذَا. قَوْلُهُ : ( هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ ) وَأَخْرَجَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَفِيهِ : " يُقْتَلُ فِيهَا هَذَا يَوْمَئِذٍ ظُلْمًا " قَالَ فَنَظَرْت فَإِذَا هُوَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ قَالَ الْحَافِظُ : إِسْنَادُهُ صَحِيحٌ.…

"The Messenger of Allah mentioned a Fitnah (tribulation) that had drawn nigh. Then a man passed by with his head covered. The Messenger of Allah said: 'On that day, this man will be following right guidance.' I leapt up and took hold of 'Uthman's arms, then I turned to face the Messenger of Allah…
