حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ، قال حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ فِي الْجَدَّةِ مَعَ ابْنِهَا

إِنَّهَا أَوَّلُ جَدَّةٍ أَطْعَمَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم سُدُسًا مَعَ ابْنِهَا وَابْنُهَا حَىٌّ ‏.‏

'Abdullah bin Mas'ud said, about the grandmother along with her daughter:

"The Messenger of Allah(S.A.W) gave the first grandmother, along with her son, a sixth for them to consume while her son was living."

Al-Mubarakfuri — Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi

قَوْلُهُ : ( أَطْعَمَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُدُسًا ) أَيْ أَعْطَاهَا تَبَرُّعًا. قَالَهُ الطِّيبِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ : قَوْلُهُ إِنَّهَا أَوَّلُ جَدَّةٍ مَقُولُ الْقَوْلِ وَالضَّمِيرُ رَاجِعٌ إِلَى الْجَدَّةِ الْمَذْكُورَةِ فِي الْمَسْأَلَةِ , أَيْ قَالَ اِبْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فِي مَسْأَلَةِ الْجَدَّةِ مَعَ الِابْنِ هَذَا الْقَوْلَ. قَالَ الْمُظْهِرُ : يَعْنِي أَعْطَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُمَّ أَبِي الْمَيِّتِ سُدُسًا مَعَ وُجُودِ أَبِي الْمَيِّتِ مَعَ أَنَّهُ لَا مِيرَاثَ لَهَا مَعَهُ. قَوْلُهُ : ( هَذَا حَدِيثٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ مَرْفُوعًا إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ) فِي سَنَدِهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ , أَبُو سَهْلٍ ا…

Ibn Mas'ud said about a case where there was a grandmother and her son that she was the first grandmother to whom God’s Messenger gave a sixth which was not due to her when she had a son who was still alive. Tirmidhi and Darimi transmitted it, but Tirmidhi declared it to be a weak tradition.
