حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، هُوَ الْقُرَشِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ الْمَسْحِ، عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ فَقَالَ

السُّنَّةُ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي ‏.‏ قَالَ وَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْمَسْحِ، عَلَى الْعِمَامَةِ فَقَالَ أَمِسَّ الشَّعَرَ الْمَاءَ ‏.‏

Abu Ubaidah bin Muttammad bin Ammar bin Yasir said:

"I asked Jabir bin Abdullah about wiping over the Khuff. He said, 'O my nephew! It is the Sunnah.'" [He said:] "And I asked him about wiping over the lmamah. He said, '[Wipe1 the hair [with water].'"

Al-Mubarakfuri — Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi

قَوْلُهُ : ( عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ) بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَرْثِ بْنِ كِنَانَةِ الْقُرَشِيِّ الْعَامِرِيِّ الْمَدَنِيِّ , رَوَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَالزُّهْرِيِّ وَعَنْهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طِهْمَانَ وَبِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ , وَثَّقَهُ اِبْنُ مَعِينٍ. قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثِقَةٌ قَدَرِيٌّ قَالَ الْفَسَوِيُّ وَابْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ لَيْسَ بِهِ بَأْسٌ قَالَ اِبْنُ عَدِيٍّ أَكْثَرُ أَحَادِيثِهِ صِحَاحٌ وَلَهُ مَا يُنْكَرُ كَذَا فِي الْخُلَاصَةِ ( عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ ) قَالَ فِي التَّقْرِيبِ : أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ أَخُو سَلَمَةَ وَقِيلَ هُوَ هُوَ مَقْبُولٌ اِنْتَهَى. وَقَالَ فِي الْخُلَاصَةِ وَثَّقَهُ…

I saw the Messenger (ﷺ) perform ablution. He had a Qutri turban. He inserted his hand beneath the turban and wiped over the forelock, and did not untie the turban.

يَتَوَضَّأُ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ قِطْرِيَّةٌ فَأَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ مِنْ تَحْتِ الْعِمَامَةِ فَمَسَحَ مُقَدَّمَ رَأْسِهِ وَلَمْ يَنْقُضِ الْعِمَامَةَ ‏.‏
