وعن أبي موسى الأشعري رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال‏:‏ ‏

"‏ليأتين على الناس زمان يطوف الرجل فيه بالصدقة من الذهب، فلا يجد أحداً يأخذها منه، ويرى الرجل الواحد يتبعه أربعون امرأة يلذن به من قلة الرجال وكثرة النساء‏"

Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (May Allah be pleased with him) said:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A time will come when a man will go about with alms from his gold and will not find anyone to receive it. One man will be seen being followed by forty women dependant upon him on account of the scarcity of men and excess of women."

Authentic Sahih Muslim 1011

Give Sadaqa for a time is about to come when a person would walk with alms and the one whom it is to be given would say: Had you brought it yesterday, I would have accepted it. For the present I do not need it. (And the giver of Sadaqa) I would not find anyone to accept it.

تَصَدَّقُوا فَيُوشِكُ الرَّجُلُ يَمْشِي بِصَدَقَتِهِ فَيَقُولُ الَّذِي أُعْطِيَهَا لَوْ جِئْتَنَا بِهَا بِالأَمْسِ قَبِلْتُهَا فَأَمَّا الآنَ فَلاَ حَاجَةَ لِي بِهَا ‏.‏ فَلاَ يَجِدُ مَنْ يَقْبَلُهَا ‏"
