أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم

نَهَى عَنِ الْبَلَحِ وَالتَّمْرِ وَالزَّبِيبِ وَالتَّمْرِ‏.‏

It was narrated from Ibn Abi Laila, from one of the Companions of the Prophet [SAW], that:

The Prophet [SAW] forbade (mixtures of) Al-Balh and dried dates, and of raisins and dried dates.

Reported by An-Nasa’i (No. 5547), Abu Dawud (No. 3705) and Ahmad (No. 18066).

Al-Sindi — Hashiyat al-Sindi on Sunan al-Nasa'i

قَوْله ( نَهَى عَنْ الْبَلَح وَالتَّمْر ) أَيْ عَنْ الْجَمْع بَيْن النَّوْعَيْنِ فِي الِانْتِبَاذ لِمُسَارَعَةِ الْإِسْكَار وَالِاشْتِدَاد عِنْد الْخَلْط فَرُبَّمَا يَقَع بِذَلِكَ فِي شُرْب الْمُسْكِر وَقَدْ جَاءَ مَا يُفِيد أَنَّهُ إِذَا أَمِنَ مِنْ الْإِسْكَار فَلَا بَأْس وَبِهِ أَخَذَ كَثِير مِنْ الْعُلَمَاء وَقَالَ بَعْضهمْ النَّهْي لِلتَّنْزِيهِ وَاَللَّه تَعَالَى أَعْلَم.…

Ibn 'Abbas reported that Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) forbade the mixing of dates and grapes together, and mixing of unripe dates and ripe dates together (for preparing Nabidh), and he wrote to the people of Jurash (in Yemen) forbidding them to prepare the mixture of dates and grapes.

أَنْ يُخْلَطَ التَّمْرُ وَالزَّبِيبُ جَمِيعًا وَأَنْ يُخْلَطَ الْبُسْرُ وَالتَّمْرُ جَمِيعًا وَكَتَبَ إِلَى أَهْلِ جُرَشَ يَنْهَاهُمْ عَنْ خَلِيطِ التَّمْرِ وَالزَّبِيبِ ‏
