أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، عَنْ بَحِيرٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِيكَرِبَ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ

الْحَرِيرِ وَالذَّهَبِ وَمَيَاثِرِ النُّمُورِ ‏.‏

It was narrated that Al-Miqdam bin Ma di Karib said:

"The Messenger of Allah forbade silk, gold and saddlecloths (Miyathir) made of leopard skin.

Al-Sindi — Hashiyat al-Sindi on Sunan al-Nasa'i

قَوْله ( عَنْ الْحَرِير وَالذَّهَب ) أَيْ اِسْتِعْمَالهمَا لِلرِّجَالِ وَإِطْلَاقه يَشْمَلُ اِسْتِعْمَال الْحَرِير بِالْفُرُشِ وَقَدْ جَاءَ عَنْهُ النَّهْي صَرِيحًا فِي صَحِيح الْبُخَارِيّ ( وَمَيَاثِر النُّمُور ) أَيْ عَنْ أَنْ نَفْرِشَ جُلُودهَا عَلَى السَّرْج وَالرِّحَال لِلْجُلُوسِ عَلَيْهَا لِمَا فِيهِ مِنْ التَّكَبُّر أَوْ لِأَنَّهُ زِيّ الْعَجَم أَوْ لِأَنَّ الشَّعْرَ نَجِس لَا يَقْبَلُ الدِّبَاغَ.…
