أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْهَادِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَتْ فَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم

عَلَى اثْنَتَىْ عَشْرَةَ أُوقِيَّةً وَنَشٍّ وَذَلِكَ خَمْسُمِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ ‏.‏

It was narrated that Abu Salamah said:

"I asked 'Aishah about that and she said: 'The Messenger of Allah got married (and married his daughters) for twelve Uqiyah and a Nashsh'" which is five hundred Dirhams.

Al-Sindi — Hashiyat al-Sindi on Sunan al-Nasa'i

قَوْله ( عَنْ ذَلِكَ ) أَيْ عَنْ الْمَهْر ( فَعَلَ ) أَيْ تَزَوَّجَ الْأَزْوَاج أَوْ زَوَّجَ الْبَنَات ( أُوقِيَّة ) بِضَمِّ هَمْزَة فَسُكُون وَاو فَتَشْدِيد يَاء بَعْد الْقَاف الْمَكْسُورَة هِيَ أَرْبَعُونَ دِرْهَمًا ( وَنَشّ ) بِفَتْحِ نُون وَتَشْدِيد شِين مُعْجَمَة اِسْم لِعِشْرِينَ دِرْهَمًا أَوْ هُوَ بِمَعْنَى النِّصْف مِنْ كُلّ شَيْء.…

Abu Salamah said: “I asked Aishah: 'How much was the dowry of the wives of the Prophet?' She said: 'The dowry he gave to his wives was twelve Uqiyyah and a Nash (of silver). Do you know what a Nash is? It is one half of an Uqiyyah. And that is equal to to five hundred Dirham.' ”

كَانَ صَدَاقُهُ فِي أَزْوَاجِهِ اثْنَتَىْ عَشْرَةَ أُوقِيَّةً وَنَشًّا هَلْ تَدْرِي مَا النَّشُّ هُوَ نِصْفُ أُوقِيَّةٍ وَذَلِكَ خَمْسُمِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ ‏.‏
