أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، ح وَأَنْبَأَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَتْهَا قَالَتْ، بَيْنَمَا أَنَا مُضْطَجِعَةٌ، مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الْخَمِيلَةِ إِذْ حِضْتُ فَانْسَلَلْتُ فَأَخَذْتُ ثِيَابَ حَيْضَتِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏

"‏ أَنَفِسْتِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ فَدَعَانِي فَاضْطَجَعْتُ مَعَهُ فِي الْخَمِيلَةِ ‏.‏

Umm Salamah narrated:

"While I was lying down with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) under a blanket, my period came, so I slipped away and put on the clothes I used to wear when I was menstruating. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Are you menstruating?' I said: 'Yes.' Then he called me and I lied down with him under the blanket."

Al-Sindi — Hashiyat al-Sindi on Sunan al-Nasa'i

قَوْله ( أَنَا مُضْطَجِعَة ) بِالرَّفْعِ وَقَالَ الْحَافِظ السُّيُوطِيُّ وَيَحُوز النَّصْب قُلْت بَعِيد هَاهُنَا وَإِنَّمَا شُرَّاح صَحِيح الْبُخَارِيّ جَوَّزُوهُ فِي رِوَايَة الْبُخَارِيّ بِلَفْظِ بَيْنَمَا أَنَا مَعَ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّه تَعَالَى عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُضْطَجِعَة بِنَاء عَلَى أَنْ يَكُون الظَّرْف خَبَرًا وَمُضْطَجِعَة حَالًا فَلْيُتَأَمَّلْ ( فِي الْخَمِيلَة ) بِفَتْحِ خَاء مُعْجَمَة وَكَسْر مِيم وَهِيَ الْقَطِيفَة ذَات الْخُمْل وَهُوَ الْهُدْب ( فَانْسَلَلْت ) خَرَجْت بِتَدْرِيجٍ تَقَذَّرَتْ بِنَفْسِهَا أَنْ تُضَاجِعهُ وَهِيَ كَذَلِكَ أَوْ خَشِيَتْ أَنْ يُصِيب شَيْء مِنْ دَمهَا وَأَنْ يَطْلُب مِنْهَا اِسْتِمْتَاعًا ( ثِيَاب حِيضَتِي ) بِكَسْرِ الْحَاء وَاخْتَارَهُ كَثِير…

While I was lying with the Prophet (ﷺ) under a woolen sheet, I got my menses. I slipped away and put on the clothes for menses. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Have you got your menses?" I replied, "Yes." He called me and I slept with him under the woolen sheet.

أَنُفِسْتِ ‏"‏‏.‏ فَقُلْتُ نَعَمْ‏.‏ فَدَعَانِي فَاضْطَجَعْتُ مَعَهُ فِي الْخَمِيلَةِ‏.‏

While I was lying with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in a bed cover I menstruated, so I slipped away and I took up the clothes (which I wore) in menses. Upon this the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Have you menstruated? I said: Yes. He called me and I lay down

Maimunah daughter of Al Harith said “When the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) intended to associate and lie with any of his wives who was menstruating, he ordered her to wrap up the lower garment(loin-cloth) and then he had association with her.

أَرَادَ أَنْ يُبَاشِرَ امْرَأَةً مِنْ نِسَائِهِ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ أَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَتَّزِرَ ثُمَّ يُبَاشِرُهَا ‏.‏

(on the authority of his father) `Aisha said: "Whenever Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) wanted to fondle anyone of us during her periods (menses), he used to order her to put on an Izar and start fondling her." `Aisha added, "None of you could control his sexual desires as the Prophet (ﷺ) could."
