Hadith narrated by A’idh ibn Amr

I visited 'Ubaidullah bin Ziyad and said to him: "Dear son, I heard Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, 'The worst of rulers are those who treat their subjects harshly. Beware, lest you should be one of them."' [Al-Bukhari].

وعن عائذ بن عمرو رضي الله عنه أنه دخل على عبيد الله بن زياد، فقال له‏:‏ أى بنى، إنى سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول‏:‏ “إن شر الرعاء الحطمة” فإياك أن تكون منهم‏.‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏

‘A’idh b. ‘Amr told that he heard God’s Messenger say, “The worst shepherds are those who are ungentle.” Muslim transmitted it.

Islam is to prevail and is not to be prevailed over

Ā'idh ibn ‘Amr al-Muzani (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Islam is to prevail and is not to be prevailed over."

"اَلْإِسْلَامِ يَعْلُو, وَلَا يُعْلَى"

Narrated by A’idh ibn Amr Explained

a man came to the prophet and asked him and he gave him, and when he placed his foot on the threshold the Messenger of Allah said: "If you knew how bad begging is, no one would go to anyone else and ask him for anything."

"‏ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا فِي الْمَسْأَلَةِ مَا مَشَى أَحَدٌ إِلَى أَحَدٍ يَسْأَلُهُ شَيْئًا ‏"
