"‏ إِذَا أَحَدُكُمْ قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهِ مَمْلُوكُهُ طَعَامًا قَدْ كَفَاهُ عَنَاءَهُ وَحَرَّهُ فَلْيَدْعُهُ فَلْيَأْكُلْ مَعَهُ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَفْعَلْ فَلْيَأْخُذْ لُقْمَةً فَلْيَجْعَلْهَا فِي يَدِهِ ‏"

ـ يَحْثُو عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلاَثَ حَثَيَاتٍ ‏.‏ قَالَ الرَّجُلُ إِنَّ شَعْرِي طَوِيلٌ ‏.‏ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَكْثَرَ شَعَرًا مِنْكَ وَأَطْيَبَ ‏.‏

"I saw the Prophet carrying Hasan bin 'Ali on his shoulder, and his saliva was dripping down on him."

"‏ إِذَا تَنَخَّمَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلاَ يَتَنَخَّمَنَّ قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ وَلاَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلْيَبْزُقْ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ الْيُسْرَى ‏"
