وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ - هُوَ الْفَرَقُ - مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ ‏.‏

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Urwa ibn az- Zubayr from A'isha, umm al-muminin, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to do ghusl for major ritual impurity from a vessel which contained a faraq.

( ش ) : قَوْلُهَا كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْ إنَاءٍ هُوَ الْفَرَقُ يَحْتَمِلُ مَعْنَيَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْ هَذَا الْإِنَاءِ وَإِنْ اسْتَعْمَلَ الْيَسِيرَ مِنْ مَائِهِ وَيَبْقَى أَكْثَرُهُ أَوْ اسْتَعْمَلَ جَمِيعَ مَا فِيهِ وَزِيَادَةً مَعَهُ فَيَتَنَاوَلُ ذَلِكَ إبَاحَةَ الْوُضُوءِ بِذَلِكَ الْإِنَاءِ وَقَدْ أَجْمَعَ الْفُقَهَاءُ عَلَى جَوَازِ الْوُضُوءِ بِكُلِّ إنَاءٍ طَاهِرٍ لَيْسَ فِيهِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَلَا فِضَّةٍ إِلَّا مَا يُرْوَى عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَمْنَعُ الْوُضُوءَ مِنْ إنَاءِ الشَّبَهِ وَنَحَا بِهِ نَاحِيَةَ الذَّهَبِ وَقَدْ رَوَى أَنَّ الْإِنَاءَ الَّذِي أَشَارَتْ إِلَيْهِ عَائِشَةُ أَنَّهُ كَانَ مِنْ شَبَهٍ وَالْمَعْنَى الثَّانِي أَنَّهُ يَحْتَمِلُ…
