حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كَانَ شِعَارُنَا لَيْلَةَ بَيَّتْنَا فِي هَوَازِنَ مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ وَأَمَّرَهُ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمِتْ أَمِتْ وَقَتَّلْتُ بِيَدَيَّ لَيْلَتَئِذٍ سَبْعَةً أَهْلَ أَبْيَاتٍ

Ilyas bin Salamah(bin Al Akwa’) said on the authority of his father “We went on an expedition with Abu Bakr (Allaah be pleased with him) in the time of the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) and our war cry was “Put to death” “Put to death”.”

فَكَانَ شِعَارُنَا أَمِتْ أَمِتْ

Good (hasan) Sunan Abu Dawud 2638

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) appointed AbuBakr our commander and we fought with some people who were polytheists, and we attacked them at night, killing them. Our war-cry that night was "put to death; put to death." Salamah said: I killed that night with my hand polytheists belonging to seven houses.

شِعَارُنَا تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ أَمِتْ أَمِتْ ‏.‏ قَالَ سَلَمَةُ فَقَتَلْتُ بِيَدِي تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ سَبْعَةَ أَهْلِ أَبْيَاتٍ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
