Narrator:Abu Hurayrah

وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَابْنُ، حُجْرٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ - عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏

مَا مِنْ دَاءٍ إِلاَّ فِي الْحَبَّةِ السَّوْدَاءِ مِنْهُ شِفَاءٌ إِلاَّ السَّامَ ‏"

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:

There is no disease for which Nigella seed does not provide remedy.

Reported by Muslim (No. 2215c) and Ahmad (No. 8695, 9892).

Ibn Abi 'Atiq came to visit him and said to us, "Treat him with black cumin. Take five or seven seeds and crush them (mix the powder with oil) and drop the resulting mixture…

إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْحَبَّةَ السَّوْدَاءَ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ إِلاَّ مِنَ السَّامِ ‏"‏‏.‏ قُلْتُ وَمَا السَّامُ قَالَ الْمَوْتُ‏.‏
