حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏:

‏ ‏"‏ أَكْثِرُوا ذِكْرَ هَاذِمِ اللَّذَّاتِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ يَعْنِي الْمَوْتَ

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Frequently remember the destroyer of pleasures,’ meaning death.”

Reported by Ibn Majah (No. 4258), At-Tirmidhi (No. 2307), An-Nasa’i (No. 1824) and Ahmad (No. 7584).

قَوْله ( هَاذِم اللَّذَّات ) قَالَ السُّيُوطِيُّ بِالذَّالِ الْمُعْجَمَة أَيْ قَاطِعهَا قُلْت وَيَحْتَمِل أَنْ يَكُون بِالدَّالِ الْمُهْمَلَة وَالْمُرَاد عَلَى التَّقْدِيرَيْنِ الْمَوْت فَإِنَّهُ يَقْطَع لَذَّات الدُّنْيَا قَطْعًا ثُمَّ إِنْ كَانَ الْمَيِّت مِنْ الْأَخْيَار تَكُون لَهُ وَصْلَة إِلَى لَذَّات الْآخِرَة أَيْضًا.…
