Chapter: One Who Builds Something On His Own Property That Harms His Neighbor

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنْ لُؤْلُؤَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي صِرْمَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" مَنْ ضَارَّ أَضَرَّ اللَّهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ شَاقَّ شَقَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ "

Abu Sirmah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever causes harm will be harmed by Allah, and whoever causes hardship will be put in hardship by Allah."
Reported by Ibn Majah (No. 2342 ) and Ahmad (No. 15195 ).
Explanation
The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) warned against causing harm or hardship to a Muslim in any matter, in himself, his wealth, or his family, and that whoever does so, Allah will subject him to a punishment similar to his action.
Lessons
It is prohibited to harm Muslims or put them in hardship. Allah Almighty takes revenge for His servants.
Explanation in Arabic حَذَّرَ النبيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِن إدخالِ المَضَرَّة على المسلم، أو إلحاق المَشَقَّة به في أي أمر من أموره؛ في نفسه أو ماله أو أهله، وأنَّ من فعل ذلك فإن الله يُجازيه ويعاقبُه من جِنْسِ عملِه.
تحريم الإضرار بالمسلم وإلحاق المشقة به. انتقام الله لعباده.
